Senior FullStack Engineer (Node, Next, React)5+Years-Remote

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Fullstack Engineer to join our dynamic project team. The ideal

candidate will be highly skilled in building robust web applications, microservices, and backend

integrations, with a solid understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks. This role requires hands-on expertise in Node.js, Express, Next.js, and authentication protocols, along with the ability to architect and implement scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full time remote role with a initial contract of 6 months with possible multiyear extension

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance full-stack applications.
• Develop microservices-based architecture ensuring seamless communication between components.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth and JWT.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers to ensure successful delivery of features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance across front-end and back-end systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to architectural decision-making.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to enhance system capabilities.

Required Technical Skills:

Backend Development:

• Expertise in Node.js and Express.js for building scalable, high-performance server-side applications.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and GraphQL services.
• Proficiency in microservices architecture, including inter-service communication, scaling, and

deployment strategies.

Frontend Development:

• Strong knowledge of Next.js (React framework) for building server-side rendered (SSR) and static web applications.
• Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
• Experience with modern UI frameworks and responsive design principles.

Authentication & Security:

• Hands-on experience implementing OAuth 2.0, JWT, and SSO mechanisms.
• Knowledge of common web security issues (XSS, CSRF, SQL injection) and prevention techniques.
• Database & Cloud Services:
• Working knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB) databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for deployment and scaling.

DevOps & Tools:

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and container orchestration (Kubernetes is a must).
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
