The Role & Key Responsibilities: The Custom developed Web Portals provide the interface for both Customers and Internal teams to the Digital Bank services, these website applications and services have been built using PHP and the Laraval framework. In this context the successful candidate will: Oversee and assist in the resolution of production incidents. Troubleshooting, debugging, and upgrading software components and features. Support and maintain th e existing Portal code. Work as part of a project team on larger projects, developing new features Translating business requirements into software design. Programming and implementing system designs. Engaging with clients and other stakeholders. PHP Unit testing and Code review Work as part of a project team on larger projects, developing new features Ensure Industry best practice coding standards are followed by all developers ensuring; clean, readable, and maintainable code that follows best practices. Collaborate with other developers, designers, testers, and project managers using agile methodologies and tools such as Git or Azure DevOps. Write technical documentation and testing scripts Apply working procedures, methodologies and tools according to ITIL best practices and internal procedures. Comply with Information security best practices and guidelines. Participate in the elaboration and maintenance of the knowledge base of product. Skills Required 6+ years work experience with PHP, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3. 6+ years work experience with Laravel. 6 years' My SQL / Maria DB Very Strong understanding of Design Principles. Excellent command of English and communication is of critical importance Working Knowledge of Atlassian Software. Experience with GIT , Webpack, Yarn and others. Experience with Unit test development Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Fluent communication skills in English both written and verbally, German and/or French advantageous. Skills Desirable Degree/Diploma in Development or technical field Knowledge/experience working within a regulated Banking environment. Knowledge of cloud - Azure experience Knowledge of working with in a DevOps environment Hands on experience leading development and support teams
