Senior Frontend Engineer (ReactJS)

Role Overview: As a Senior UI Developer at UBS, your main role will be to assist in building and delivering enterprise digital client platforms. You will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and managing technology platforms in the client onboarding/lifecycle management areas. Additionally, you will apply a broad range of full stack development, security, reliability, and integration technologies on the Azure platform to ensure the delivery of a robust and scalable platform. Integration with various platforms such as advisory workstation, client due-diligence systems, case management systems, data/document management, and workflow management will be essential to provide a seamless experience for clients and advisors. Furthermore, you will be required to develop and foster partnerships with cross-functional teams to ensure that the platform meets the firm's requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, implement, and manage technology platforms in the client onboarding/lifecycle management areas - Apply full stack development, security, reliability, and integration technologies on the Azure platform - Integrate with advisory workstation, client due-diligence systems, case management systems, data/document management, and workflow management - Develop and foster partnerships with cross-functional teams to ensure platform meets firm's requirements Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or related engineering/technical fields with 8+ years of relevant experience - Strong understanding of agile methodologies - Proficiency in software engineering with JavaScript, ES6, React JS, Redux, and JSX - Deep understanding of frontend development tools and technologies such as npm, webpack, less-CSS processors, CSS flexbox model - Experience in designing secure, robust, and scalable frontend applications - Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST) and version control systems like Git - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and synthesizing skills - Experience in RxJS would be an added advantage Company Details: UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager, operating through four business divisions: Global Wealth Management, Personal & Corporate Banking, Asset Management, and the Investment Bank.
