Senior Frontend Developer

As a Senior Frontend Developer, you will work closely with a small team of software developers to build, maintain, and document web applications. Your role involves designing, developing, and optimizing software solutions for current internal web applications. You should ensure that all new web applications function smoothly across various platforms, perform testing on new and existing features, and support legacy web applications. Collaboration with business stakeholders to understand processes and propose technical solutions is essential. Additionally, you will investigate application performance issues, work within a cloud environment, and stay updated on technological innovations. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and document software solutions for internal web applications - Ensure new web applications function smoothly across different platforms - Optimize new and existing web applications to adhere to coding standards - Test new and existing features in web applications - Support legacy web applications - Collaborate with business stakeholders to propose technical solutions - Investigate application performance issues and coordinate optimization initiatives - Work closely with offshore development team - Collaborate with designers to ensure user experience and usability - Stay updated on technological innovations Qualifications Required: - Work experience as a senior front-end developer - Expert knowledge of React with TypeScript - Expertise in CSS - Experience in C# and Azure - Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (preferably SQL & Cosmos) - Ability to lead technical initiatives - Knowledge of agile development - Understanding of security best practices - Understanding of application architecture - Experience with business users - Experience with code reviews - Excellent communication skills, both written and oral - Bachelor's of Science in Computer Science or equivalent In addition to the above requirements, you should have a strong appreciation for usability and user experience in web applications, familiarity with emerging presentation layer frameworks, and experience with source code control systems. Experience with open-source automation testing frameworks/tools is also preferred.
