Job Description
We are looking for a great JS developer who is proficient with React.js and Redux, has at least 5 years of relevant experience. Your primary focus will be on developing and integrating user interface components. You will have end to end ownership of the applications you develop, to ensure it is robust and easy to maintain. Youll also enable backend integrations and coordinate with product to gather details. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.
Responsibilities
1. Developing new user-facing features using React.js as per specified design requirements and API specification
2. Translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of custom analytics products and web applications
3. Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
4. Integrating with various backends and maintaining frontend services and applications
5. Writing unit tests for 100% code coverage
Skills Required
1. Strong relevant frontend experience of at least 3 years.
2. Understanding of domain driven design principles
3. Solid knowledge of unit testing
4. A passion for front end design and/or web application development
5. Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
6. Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
7. Experience in creating microservices oriented applications which consume RESTful APIs
8. Deep knowledge of relevant protocols like HTTP, HTTP2, TLS etc. and REST design
9. Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
10. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
11. Familiarity with Git
12. Experience with charting libraries (e.g., AMCharts, HighCharts) and Grafana
13. B.Tech. (CSE) or equivalent college education
Bonus Skills
1. Experience of developing backend microservices using NodeJS & ExpressJS
2. Exposure to gRPC, Docker and K8s
3. Familiarity with modern front-end build processes, pipelines and tools
4. Knack for benchmarking and optimization, using various optimization techniques like compression and various forms of caching, to handle high data volumes
5. Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms and security practices
