Job Description

As a Senior Flexera Data Analyst at our organization, your primary responsibility will be to manage internal data structures, automate data flows, and deliver actionable reporting within the Flexera ecosystem. You should possess extensive experience in data modeling, API integrations, and reporting, coupled with a thorough understanding of software asset management principles. In terms of Internal Data Structures & Modeling, you will be tasked with designing, maintaining, and optimizing internal data models and structures within the Flexera environment. This includes mapping business asset data to Flexera's normalized software models accurately. You will also need to ensure precise data classification, enrichment, and normalization to facilitate software lifecycle tracking. Collaboration with infrastructure, operations, and IT teams will be essential to ingest and reconcile data from various internal systems effectively. Regarding Reporting & Analytics, your role will involve designing and maintaining reports and dashboards within Flexera or utilizing external BI tools like Power BI or Tableau. You will provide analytical insights on software usage, compliance, licensing, optimization, and risk exposure. Additionally, automating recurring reporting processes and ensuring timely delivery to business stakeholders will be part of your responsibilities. It will be crucial to work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into meaningful reports and visualizations. In terms of Automated Data Feeds & API Integrations, you will be responsible for developing and supporting automated data feeds using Flexera REST/SOAP APIs. You will integrate Flexera with enterprise tools such as CMDB, SCCM, ServiceNow, and ERP to ensure reliable and consistent data flow. Monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to data extracts and API communication will also fall under your purview. Implementing robust logging, alerting, and exception handling for integration pipelines will be essential. In this role, you must have a minimum of 6+ years of experience working with Flexera or similar software. Strong hands-on experience with Flexera One, FlexNet Manager Suite, or similar tools is a must. Proficiency in REST/SOAP API development and integration, strong SQL skills, familiarity with data transformation/normalization concepts, experience using reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel for data visualization, and familiarity with enterprise systems such as SCCM, ServiceNow, ERP, CMDBs are essential technical skills. You should also possess strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for handling data inconsistencies and API failures. An understanding of license models, software contracts, and compliance requirements is crucial. Excellent communication skills to translate technical data into business insights would be advantageous. Overall, this role requires a Senior Flexera Data Analyst who can effectively manage internal data structures, automate data flows, and deliver insightful reporting within the Flexera ecosystem.,
