Senior Firmware Engineer

You will be responsible for writing code that aligns with project requirements and adheres to documentation and design standards. Additionally, you will create the standard documentation necessary to translate project needs into software design specifications. Your role will involve rectifying defects identified during QA software testing and RD&E systems testing. Furthermore, you will contribute to requirements gathering and product definition activities during project initiation and provide support to field test personnel post-development. Collaborating in the development of the overall architecture for various software systems will also be a part of your responsibilities. On occasions, you may offer guidance to testing and lab support personnel. Your contributions will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability of code, documentation, and support for field personnel. To be successful in this role, you should possess a degree or advanced degree in Software Engineering or a related discipline. The ideal candidate will have a degree and 2 to 4 years of experience or an advanced degree and 1 to 3 years of related experience. Working under limited supervision, you will tackle assigned tasks or segments of projects independently to determine and develop approaches to achieve desired objectives. You may lead projects, experiments, or research initiatives with limited scope and complexity. Typically, you will report to a Project/Program leader or a more Senior Technical Leader.
