Senior Financial Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional finance professional with a strong command of dynamic financial

modelling, data-driven analysis, and strategic insight to join our high-performing team.

In this role, you will lead the development of advanced, flexible financial models, extract and

analyze large datasets for actionable insights, and play a key role in supporting strategic decision - making, capital raising, and M&A activity across our global fintech and payments businesses.

You will collaborate with senior leadership, investors, and cross-functional teams to drive value

creation and ensure data-backed strategic choices. This position is pivotal for translating complex financial and operational information into compelling investment cases and actionable

recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Modelling & Forecasting

• Build, maintain, and enhance robust, dynamic financial models in Excel, Power BI, Google

Sheets, or Python, including:

• Fully integrated 3-statement forecasts
• DCF valuations and sensitivity/scenario modelling
• Cash flow waterfalls and capital structure optimisation
• Cohort analysis for revenue streams, lending portfolios, and customer segments

• Ensure models are transparent, scalable, and easily adaptable to changing assumptions.

2. Data Analytics & Insights

• Perform large-scale data analysis using advanced Excel, SQL, and/or Python to identify

performance patterns, KPIs, and predictive drivers.

• Use data visualization (Power BI/Tableau) to clearly communicate findings to stakeholders.

• Build and maintain KPI dashboards for business units, cash flow health, and fund

performance.

3. Strategic Finance Support

• Partner with business leaders on long-term financial planning, unit economics analysis, and

strategic scenario testing.

• Support fundraising processes (equity, structured debt, or hybrid), preparing investor

presentations and investment memorandums tailored for VCs, PE funds, banks, and family

offices.

• Contribute to M&A deal evaluation including target due diligence, synergy analysis, and

integration forecasting.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

• Present complex financial insights in a clear, concise, and commercially focused manner to

senior management, board members, and external partners.

• Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, CFO, and business unit leaders in financial decision

making.

Qualifications & Skills

• CFA Charter holder (or equivalent), with 5+ years post-Level III experience in investment

banking, corporate finance, or private equity.

• Expert-level ability in dynamic financial modelling and advanced Excel (array formulas,

pivot tables, macros), with proficiency in Google Sheets; Python or R a strong plus.

• Strong grasp of financial fundamentals, valuation techniques, and capital structuring.

• Experience in data analytics tools (SQL, Power BI, Tableau) to support decision-making.

• Proven track record supporting or leading fundraising and M&A transactions.

• Exceptional business communication skills able to translate numbers into strategic

narratives.
