SENIOR FASHION DESIGNER

As a Fashion Textile Designer, your role involves creating innovative and visually appealing designs for fabrics used in clothing, accessories, and home furnishings. You will combine artistic creativity with technical knowledge of textiles and production processes to ensure that designs are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. Key Responsibilities: - Design Creation: Develop sketches, patterns, and digital designs for various textile applications, including apparel, accessories, and home goods. - Fabric Selection: Choose appropriate fabrics, colors, textures, and embellishments to suit design concepts and target market. - Trend Forecasting: Stay updated on current and emerging fashion trends, color palettes, and design styles to anticipate consumer demand. - Sample Development: Create physical samples of designs to demonstrate their feasibility and quality to clients and stakeholders. - Technical Expertise: Utilize CAD software, understand textile manufacturing processes, and communicate technical specifications to production teams. - Client Communication: Collaborate with designers, buyers, and production managers to understand design requirements and ensure successful production. - Portfolio Development: Maintain a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design styles and techniques. - Market Research: Analyze market trends and consumer preferences to inform design choices. - Collaboration: Work with other designers, engineers, and manufacturers to bring designs to life.
