Senior Factory Maintenance Manager

Role & responsibilities

You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and
performance of all production machinery, utilities, and plant assets. This includes overseeing preventive maintenance, leading a technical team, supporting production uptime, and driving improvements as we move toward higher automation levels.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage the maintenance department in a high-volume
industrial HVAC and refrigeration manufacturing plant. * Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programmes. * Oversee maintenance of a wide range of machinery

* Maintain utilities such as compressed air, electrical distribution,
water systems, and material handling equipment. * Support factory layout optimisation, new machine installations, and commissioning activities during ongoing expansion. * Lead troubleshooting and ensure rapid resolution of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and control-system faults. * Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction, improved reliability, and reduced downtime. * Ensure all maintenance activities align with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. * Train, mentor, and develop the maintenance team to support future automation initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

Skills & Experience

* Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or Senior Maintenance
Engineer in a manufacturing environment. * Strong background in HVAC, refrigeration, sheet metal, or heavy industrial machinery preferred. * Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC/automation, and pneumatic systems. * Experience with laser cutters, welding systems, or CNC equipment is beneficial. * Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills. * Familiarity with TPM/5S/Lean methodologies is an advantage.
