Senior Expert Digital Architecture

You will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of an Azure-based digital and AI platform that facilitates scalable and secure product delivery across IT and OT domains. In collaboration with the Enterprise Architect, you will shape the platform architecture to ensure alignment with the overall digital ecosystem. Your role will involve integrating OT sensor data from PLCs, SCADA, and IoT devices into a centralized and governed Lakehouse environment, bridging plant-floor operations with cloud innovation. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and implement the Azure digital platform utilizing IoT Hub, IoT Edge, Synapse, Databricks, and Purview. - Work closely with the Enterprise Architect to ensure that platform capabilities align with the broader enterprise architecture and digital roadmap. - Design data ingestion flows and edge-to-cloud integration from OT systems such as SCADA, PLC, MQTT, and OPC-UA. - Establish platform standards for data ingestion, transformation (Bronze, Silver, Gold), and downstream AI/BI consumption. - Ensure security, governance, and compliance in accordance with standards like ISA-95 and the Purdue Model. - Lead the technical validation of platform components and provide guidance on platform scaling across global sites. - Implement microservices architecture patterns using containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) to enhance platform modularity and scalability. Requirements: - Possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in architecture or platform engineering roles. - Demonstrated hands-on expertise with Azure services including Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, IoT Edge, and IoT Hub. - Deep understanding of industrial data protocols such as OPC-UA, MQTT, and Modbus. - Proven track record of designing IT/OT integration solutions in manufacturing environments. - Familiarity with Medallion architecture, time-series data, and Azure security best practices. - TOGAF or Azure Solutions Architect certification is mandatory for this role.,
