Role Overview: You will be part of the Global Experience Design team at SimCorp, where you will play a crucial role in transforming complex financial workflows into intuitive solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. As a SimCorp Experience Designer, you will balance craft mastery with strategic thinking, translating complex financial concepts into clear interfaces and facilitating cross-functional collaboration to drive stakeholder consensus. Your responsibilities will include leading design for major features, conducting user research, creating prototypes, and ensuring designs meet accessibility and usability standards. Additionally, you will mentor junior designers, contribute to design system development, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development. Key Responsibilities: - Navigate between high-level strategy and detailed execution - Translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable interfaces - Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and drive stakeholder consensus - Take ownership of projects while contributing to the collective design practice - Lead design for major features and product improvements - Plan and conduct user research and usability testing - Create high-fidelity prototypes and design specifications - Ensure designs meet accessibility and usability standards - Mentor experience designers - Contribute to design system and pattern library - Participate in design critiques and peer reviews - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development - Contribute to design process documentation and improvement - Share knowledge through internal presentations and workshops - Support hiring efforts through portfolio reviews and interviews - Represent design in technical architecture discussions Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years of design experience in product or enterprise software - Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process - Experience with design systems and component libraries - Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma, Sketch, etc.) - Background in user research and testing methodologies Please note that only applications sent through the SimCorp career site will be processed.
