Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns. Logistics and Distribution : Coordinate the movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses and distribution centers. Optimize logistics operations for cost- effectiveness and efficiency. Inventory Management : Oversee inventory levels and ensure adequate stock for production and customer demands. Implement inventory control measures to minimize excess or obsolete stock. Demand Planning : Collaborate with sales and production teams to forecast demand. Develop strategies to meet demand fluctuations and ensure product availability. Process Optimization : Identify opportunities for process improvement within the supply chain. Implement efficiency measures to streamline operations. Risk Management : Assess and mitigate risks related to supply chain disruptions. Develop contingency plans for unforeseen events affecting the supply chain. Cross- Functional Collaboration : Work closely with cross- functional teams, including finance, sales, and production. Communicate effectively to ensure alignment on supply chain goals. Compliance and Regulations : Ensure compliance with local and international regulations. Stay informed about changes in import/export laws and trade compliance. Reporting and Analysis : Generate regular reports on key supply chain metrics. Conduct data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
