Senior Executive procurement

Your responsibilities in this role will include: - Sourcing and procuring a wide range of sea water and fresh water fish varieties. - Building and managing relationships with vendors, suppliers, and fishing communities. - Ensuring procurement aligns with quality, cost, and delivery targets. - Negotiating pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers. - Monitoring market trends and ensuring timely procurement to meet business demands. - Coordinating with the quality, logistics, and operations teams to ensure smooth supply chain functioning. - Identifying and onboarding new suppliers to strengthen the procurement network. To be successful in this role, it is expected that you have: - A Bachelors or Masters degree in Fisheries is compulsory. - Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in seafood procurement. - A strong vendor network in the seafood industry, especially in Andhra Pradesh. - A proven track record in negotiating and finalizing deals with suppliers. - Familiarity with seafood quality standards and supply chain requirements. - The ability to travel to coastal and inland fish landing centers as required.,
