Senior Executive - Master data management

As a Data Governance Manager, your role involves overseeing and managing the organization's data assets to ensure quality, governance, and security. You will be responsible for extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support informed business decision-making, bridging technical and analytical aspects for maximum value realization. Your key responsibilities will include: - Extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources into databases or data warehouses. - Maintaining data integrity and upholding high data quality standards. - Collaborating with different departments like finance, marketing, and product for data requirements. - Ensuring compliance with data governance policies and standards. - Implementing security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure regulatory compliance. - Identifying opportunities to enhance data collection processes and systems. - Staying updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices for data management. In terms of Data Quality Management, you should have expertise in data profiling, validation, cleansing, and enrichment processes. Experience in managing data across multiple platforms like ERP, CRM, and other enterprise systems is essential. For Data Governance & Stewardship, a deep understanding of data governance principles and the ability to implement governance processes effectively are crucial. You should be experienced in working with data stewards and defining roles and responsibilities for data ownership and quality management. Regarding Technical Skills, proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau is required. Hands-on experience with data quality tools, MDM platforms, and familiarity with data integration tools and methodologies like ETL are necessary. Your Communication & Collaboration skills will be key, as you must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
