We are hiring for the role of general accounting for our Baner, Pune location.

Job Description:-

Core Requirements for the Role

• Experience: Prior experience in bank reconciliation, accounting entries, compliance, GST filings, and report preparation is essential.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally, ERP), MS Excel, and online financial portals for GST, bank reconciliation, and reporting.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Solid understanding of Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, GST law (including TCS, GSTR-9), MSME compliance, and duty drawback procedures.
• Reporting Skills: Ability to compile and finalize trial balance, financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet), and MIS reports independently and timely.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliation and reporting for multiple business units.
• Preparing and verifying the bank balance sheet, revenue audit, and reconciliation of sales and e-commerce transactions.
• Monitoring compliance for ITC reversal, MSME vendor payment deadlines, GST filings, insurance updates, and government regulations.
• Completing and validating stock entries, ledger scrutiny, and purchase/sales reconciliations.
• Coordinating with auditors and government authorities for regulatory compliance and audit queries.
• Finalizing and submitting periodic reports, including EOD status reports, financial reports, and tax returns.

• Timely execution and ability to meet compliance deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for interdepartmental and government coordination.
• Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Qualities

• Experience in handling accounting functions for multiple business units (hotel, Factory and construction).
• Experience in team training or knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Prior experience with project-based loan processing and documentation
