Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounts Payable (AP):

Processing vendor invoices and ensuring proper approvals.
Maintaining vendor ledgers and reconciling outstanding balances.
Preparing payment schedules and coordinating with vendors for queries.
Ensuring timely payments and compliance with company policies.

2. Accounts Receivable (AR):

Preparing customer invoices and maintaining customer ledgers.
Following up for outstanding payments with clients.
Reconciling receipts and updating records timely.

3. General Accounting:

Preparing journal entries, debit/credit notes.
Handling bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
Assisting in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.

6. Additional Responsibilities:

Coordination with internal departments for invoices, approvals, and payments.
Supporting budgeting, MIS reporting, and financial analysis when required.
Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of financial data.

Preferred candidate profile

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance)
34 years of hands-on experience in accounting.
Strong knowledge of AP, AR, GST, TDS, and basic financial statements.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally ERP )
Good communication, analytical, and reconciliation skills.
Ability to manage deadlines and work independently.
