Senior Etl Tester

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, your primary duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for analyzing functional design, requirements and specifications using agile methodologies
• Responsible for creating or updating test scenarios in case of new enhancements or change requests.
• Responsible for creating test suite of test cases covering all the aspects of the impacted areas due to a change or a code fix
• Prepare comprehensive test data sets to support functional, regression, and integration testing
• Execute test cases, document results, and log defects with detailed reproduction steps and impact analysis.
• Adhere to established QA best practices, including test planning, traceability, and defect lifecycle management
• Responsible for peer test case reviews
• Responsible for mentoring 1-2 product and associate engineers and providing help when necessary
• Contribute to test strategy, planning, and estimation for releases and sprints.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage.

Qualifications, Education, & Special Skills

Qualifications include:

• 4+ years of experience in Software Testing (manual and automation)

Education:

• Any combination equivalent to a degree in Computer Science or related field

Special Skills:

• Self-motivated and organized professional with the ability to work independently.
• Expertise in

  Agile

  software delivery and impact analysis of business changes.
• Strong experience in testing

  Web, ETL and BI

  applications.
• Skilled in testing RESTful services and service-oriented architectures.
• Advanced

  SQL

  skills and understanding of database procedures.
• Hands-on experience with

  Jira

  for defect tracking and test management.
• Proficient in automation frameworks using

  Selenium

  , Cucumber, REST Assured.
• Experience developing and maintaining automation test suites.
• Exposure to

  Python

  scripting and AI-based testing tools.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies.
• Capable of preparing and presenting release test summary reports.
