ob Summary:
We are looking for a seasoned Senior ETL/DB Tester with deep expertise in data validation and database testing across modern data platforms. This role requires strong proficiency in SQL and experience with tools like Talend, ADF, Snowflake, and Power BI. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of working across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced data engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for ETL and database validation processesValidate data transformations and integrity across multiple stages and systems (Talend, ADF, Snowflake, Power BI)Perform manual testing and defect tracking using Zephyr or ToscaAnalyze business and data requirements to ensure full test coverageWrite and execute complex SQL queries for data reconciliationIdentify data-related issues and conduct root cause analysis in collaboration with developersTrack and manage bugs and enhancements through appropriate toolsOptimize testing strategies for performance, scalability, and accuracy in ETL workflows
Mandatory Skills:ETL Tools: Talend, ADFData Platforms: SnowflakeReporting/Analytics: Power BI, VPITesting Tools: Zephyr or Tosca, Manual testingStrong SQL expertise for validating complex data workflows
