Senior Enterprise Services Engineer

As a Senior Enterprise Services Engineer at Meridian, you will be responsible for understanding and utilizing the Power BI platform to develop and administer BI tools. Your role will involve transforming raw data into valuable insights through appealing dashboards and reports. You will need to be analytical, proficient in DAX queries, and an excellent communicator. **Key Responsibilities:** - Power BI development and administration - Building Analysis Services reporting models - Developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI desktop - Connecting to data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence - Implementing row-level security on data and understanding application security layer models in Power BI - Making advanced level calculations on the data set - Designing methodology and project documentation - Developing tabular and multidimensional models compatible with warehouse standards - Developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports as per business requirements - Integrating Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics - Developing custom visuals for Power BI - Performing other duties as assigned **Qualifications And Requirements:** - 8+ years" experience as a technical IT resource - 5+ years supporting or delivering in an enterprise-level environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack including Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS - 3 to 4 years of experience with self-service tools, preferably Power BI or Tableau - Prior experience in data-related tasks - Mastery in data analytics and software development - Familiarity with MS SQL Server BI Stack tools and technologies - Excellent communication skills for successful client and internal team interaction At Meridian, we have been guiding customers since 1979 to harness the full potential of their technology investments.
