Senior Engineer (Track)-Mumbai

We are seeking applications for the position of Senior Engineer (Track) for Project Management Consultancy Services for Re-development Project of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) Railway Station and Construction of Associated Infrastructure.

• Assist in preparing, reviewing, and finalizing track layout drawings, plans, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, structural, civil, signaling, electrical, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design execution.
• Ensure that design solutions meet relevant standards (Indian Railways/RDSO/International as applicable).
• Oversee and review the detailed design/drawings submitted by contractors/the design team for track work.
• Provide technical input for alignment, curvature, gradients, turnouts, and track structure designs.
• Ensure compatibility with station redevelopment plans and associated infrastructure.
• Supervise site execution of ballastless track installation, including:
• Surface preparation, bedding or base layer construction.
• Formwork, reinforcement, and concreting for track slabs.
• Installation of rails, fasteners, and tie bars or anchors as per approved design.
• Monitor alignment, gauge, and levels during all stages of slab construction and rail installation.
• Oversee the placement and curing of concrete or other track-supporting structures.
• Establish and enforce quality assurance protocols for all materials (rails, fastening systems, reinforcement steel, concrete mix, etc.) and construction processes.
• Conduct inspections and material testing (strength, durability, modulus of elasticity, etc.) to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Ensure traceability and acceptance of all precast elements or proprietary ballastless systems.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education qualification Graduate Civil Engineer / Diploma graduate Civil
• Years of experience Min. 5 Years. for Graduate Civil Engineer (Min 8 Years for Diploma holder)
• Similar Projects Experience - Min. 3 Years
• Similar Position Experience - Min. 2 Years
• Age - > 50 Years
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
• Ability to problem solve, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
• Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
• Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decisions and be a good troubleshooter.
