You are the face of Pega, dedicated to providing world-class technical support and advice on the use of Pegasystems Products and Applications. As a Senior Engineer, Technical Support at Pega, you will play a crucial role within Global Client Support (GCS). Your responsibilities include addressing technical issues, handling escalated or challenging client issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty by delivering exceptional support for Pegasystems SaaS Products and Applications. Your key responsibilities at Pega will include driving issue resolution, utilizing advanced technical knowledge to support customers through various stages, maintaining strong customer relationships, collaborating with multiple teams, ensuring timely customer updates, driving efficiencies in technical work, mentoring new team members, and staying updated on new technology developments related to Pegasystems products. To excel in this role, you must possess strong technical skills, the ability to quickly understand complex enterprise application issues, diagnose problems, and implement effective solutions. You should be adept at handling critical client escalations, possess excellent communication skills, work well in a team environment, and demonstrate the ability to interact effectively with customers at all levels. Your qualifications should include a minimum of 4+ years of experience in Product Support/Development, strong Core Java/JEE skills or Pega System Architect certification, proficiency in Databases (e.g., Oracle, MySql), good oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team. Additionally, you should have strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, the ability to learn new technologies quickly, and a track record of analyzing and resolving enterprise software issues.
