Senior Engineer, Service Delivery

As a Senior Service Delivery Engineer at Dell Technologies, you play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service to drive progress. Your responsibilities include understanding each client's priorities and initiatives to provide tailored technical solutions effectively. By collaborating closely with Sales and Global Services colleagues, you contribute to developing strategic account growth plans and identifying sales opportunities. Your expertise and dedication will make a significant social impact while working in our Service Delivery Team in Bangalore. In this role, you will coordinate the technical solution team's activities to meet contract obligations efficiently, ensuring that delivery costs align with the service level agreement throughout the entire life cycle. Your proactive approach in identifying and resolving potential issues will prevent customer impact and drive continuous improvement. Effective communication with partners and cross-functional teams will enhance the customer experience, fostering strong relationships. Additionally, you will participate in developing strategic account growth plans in collaboration with sales and Global Services SMEs, as well as manage customer relationships during high-priority escalations. To excel in this position, you should possess in-depth knowledge and at least 6 years of experience in Dell EMC Data Protection product suites. Familiarity with backup modules such as Oracle, SQL, NDMP, and VADP over Networker/Data Domain/ECS, along with skills in Networker client migrations, Patch Management, Performance Tuning, Cloning configuration, troubleshooting, Staging, Media Management, Disaster Recovery, and new device provisioning in production settings are essential. Proficiency in Networker and Data Domain, including databases, VM backups, and backup and restore skills, is crucial. Knowledge of storage and virtualization will be advantageous. Ideal candidates will have ITIL Foundation and intermediate module certifications, expertise in Networker, Data Domain, ECS, and Data Protection Advisor.
