Senior Engineer RTOS Firmware

As a Firmware/Software Engineer at InnoPhase Inc., DBA GreenWave Radios, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of bare metal & RTOS-based firmware/software for a 5G SoC, focusing on device driver and lower PHY functionalities. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and verify SW/FW products in line with industry standards and company procedures. You will have the opportunity to test developed software in both simulation and actual hardware environments, contributing significantly to the enhancement of network energy efficiency and operational expenses reduction. You will work closely with Applications, Systems, HW, and SW/FW teams to determine software/firmware requirements, participate in architecture and code reviews, and produce essential documentation such as design specifications, developer guides, and user guides. Your individual contribution will be paramount, with opportunities for technical leadership and mentorship within the team. To excel in this role, you are required to have at least 5 years of relevant experience, with a B.E in EE/CS being mandatory and an M.Tech in EE/CS being preferred. Strong coding skills in C, C++, and Python are essential, along with experience in ARM or similar embedded SoC development environments and familiarity with RTOS principles. Proficiency in configuration management, version control, and modern software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Lean is highly valued. Your excellent debug skills, communication abilities, and initiative-driven mindset will be instrumental in resolving technical issues effectively. Desirable skills include prior experience in System on a Chip (SoC) product development, a good understanding of cellular wireless protocols (MAC/PHY), and proficiency in using tools like GIT and Jira.
