Senior Engineer-Ring Quality

You are required to have a strong background in ring plant quality operations with hands-on experience in implementing quality control systems and resolving product quality issues. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring quality control for manufacturing and outgoing processes in the piston ring plant, implementing and maintaining quality systems such as PPAP, MSA, SPC, APQP, monitoring and analyzing production quality data, leading audits and inspections for continuous improvement, coordinating with production and R&D teams to resolve quality-related issues, developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and quality documentation, as well as training operators and junior staff on quality standards and best practices. To qualify for this position, you must hold a B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 10-15 years of relevant experience in the auto component industry, preferably in piston and piston ring manufacturing. You should have in-depth knowledge of piston ring manufacturing processes and quality control, a strong command of quality tools like PPAP, MSA, SPC, APQP, and practical experience in handling quality-related issues and customer complaints. An analytical mindset with a problem-solving approach will be beneficial in this role. The job type is full-time and permanent, with benefits including cell phone reimbursement and provident fund.
