Description
As a Senior Engineer- Dev at Eaton India Innovation Center in Magarpatta City, Pune, you will be part of a team focused on building world-class software solutions for Eaton Vehicle Group customers. Your role will involve developing customer-facing applications using the latest technologies, such as cloud, big data, and IoT. You will be responsible for software design, bug fixing, process improvement, writing unit tests, documentation, and actively participating in application development activities. Additionally, you will manage the development cycle, distribute tasks within the team, monitor progress, define application architecture, and support and coach new teammates. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React and other front-end technologies - Create user-facing features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, Typescript - Collaborate with UX designers and back-end developers to ensure visually appealing interfaces - Conduct user research and usability testing for interface enhancement - Troubleshoot and debug issues across different browsers and devices - Integrate front-end UI with backend services for cohesive performance - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code - Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in full-stack development - Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Information Technology/Electronics Engineering required - Master's Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering preferred - 7+ years of experience as a UI Developer - 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer - Proficiency in React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+) - Experience with Redux, Context API, and other state management libraries - Strong understanding of front-end and back-end development processes - Hands-on experience with frameworks like Serenityjs and playwright with Reactjs - Knowledge of build tools like Webpack, Babel, or Vite - Experience with React, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js - Solid knowledge of database systems such as REDIS or SQL - Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments - Exposure to unit testing frameworks like Jest, Karma, Jasmine, Angular, React Testing Library - Familiarity with version control systems like Git - Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical skills - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts - Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and handle multiple projects efficiently Join Eaton to work on exciting projects, be part of a high-energy team, and make a strong impact on the industry transformation!
