Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining as a Backoffice RAN Engineer with expertise in Ericsson LTE/5G NSA & SA technologies. Your primary responsibility will be to handle end-to-end tasks related to 5G and other emerging technologies in Managed Services Operations. Your role demands a strong grasp of the latest mobile network architecture to effectively drive and support technology tasks and deliveries. Key Responsibilities: - Manage operational issues related to 5G and new technologies, focusing on process and tools. - Provide technical troubleshooting and resolution for daily operational issues within the RAN network. - Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives and operational improvements in Managed Services Operations. - Support the development of automation initiatives for 5G operations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve network-related issues and support knowledge transfer. - Coordinate with the Support team for case resolution and perform root cause analysis (RCA). - Be flexible to work in 24/7 planned shifts, including night shifts. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network architecture, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. - Prepare, collect, and validate scripts and configurations for planned activities. Qualifications Required: - Education: Engineering Degree (preferred) - Experience: 6 to 10 years in RAN Engineering focusing on LTE and 5G technologies. - Core Competencies: - Strong understanding of LTE, NSA, and SA architectures in RAN services. - Hands-on experience with Ericsson RAN equipment for operations, troubleshooting, and fault rectification. - Expertise in 4G/5G KPIs, performance monitoring metrics, protocol-level knowledge, and trace analysis. - Proficiency in using trace analysis tools like LogTool, Wireshark, etc. - Knowledge of telecom nodes connectivity, RCA analysis, and issue resolution. - Familiarity with Cloud RAN fundamentals, 5G use cases, and Ericsson Indoor Radio Units. - Ability to troubleshoot customer complaints, perform routine maintenance, and handle network expansions.
