Senior Engineer - Quality

Role & responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and standards for

  E-Compressor, IPM Motors, and Inverter projects

  .
• Conduct regular

  audits and inspections

  to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and testing teams to identify and mitigate quality risks.
• Analyze and resolve quality issues, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, including test reports, inspection records, and certification documents.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality policies.
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality of incoming materials and components.
• Provide quality training and support to production and testing teams.
• Alignment with the customer technical department on special customer requirements and standards for validation of MAHLE products.

Preferred candidate profile:

• B.E in Electrical and Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical with

  5 to 10 years of experience in handling Quality functions.

• IATF 16949

  implementation knowledge is mandatory.
• Experience with

  E-Compressor, IPM Motors, or Inverter products.

• VDA 6.3 certified person.

• Strong knowledge of

  quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949).

• Experience with quality tools and methodologies

  (APQP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Implementing Process Failure mode analysis concept on assembly process.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Person with right leadership Quality and capabilities to manage the function through people.
• Ability to influence, convince with assertive communication to the stakeholders like customers, suppliers and internal key stakeholders.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
