Senior Engineer - Quality Assurance

Role Overview: As a Senior Engineer in Quality Assurance at Hitachi High-Tech India Pvt. Ltd., you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing software for embedded devices and systems. Your proficiency in both Japanese and English will enable you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality. Your expertise in software development processes and communication skills will be essential in gathering requirements from Japanese-speaking stakeholders and providing updates. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement software for embedded devices and systems, ensuring a seamless process from concept to production. - Collaborate with hardware engineers and other cross-functional teams to ensure integration and functionality. - Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to enhance system performance and reliability. - Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for software designs and interfaces. - Communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates. Qualification Required: - Excellent communication skills in Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher) and English. - Over 10 years of experience in implementing the entire software development process, from Basic design to Detail design & Unit testing to Comprehensive testing. - Proficiency in C programming and understanding of hardware-software integration. - Knowledge of quality control, maintenance, and inspection. - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - Preferred qualifications include knowledge of hardware-software integration and debugging tools, as well as prior experience working in a multicultural or international team setting.
