Senior Engineer, .Net

You will be part of a dynamic team at IMT, contributing to the development of the Platform that supports various applications in the IMT Product Suites. Your role will involve analyzing, designing, implementing, and testing software applications for features, modules, enhancements, and new products. You will work closely with Senior Engineers to prepare plans, designs, and reports, resolving problems using innovative technologies and building prototypes to address business challenges. Your responsibilities will include writing efficient, high-quality code using industry-standard practices in .NET and C#. You will integrate data from different back-end services, gather requirements, and maintain software documentation. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling websites, understanding customer needs, collaborating with internal and external teams, and designing, developing, and testing web applications with high quality and on schedule. You will document and train team members on new methodologies and tools while ensuring consistent delivery across the team. To succeed in this role, you should have at least 6 years of experience in developing software and enterprise applications, with a strong background in object-oriented design and development using Java. You should be proficient in technologies like .NET, REST, JSON, XML, NoSQL databases, relational databases, AWS, and other cloud infrastructure. Exposure to Node.js or Python is a plus, along with experience in planning and delivering software platforms across multiple products and units. Your expertise in web application design, programming languages, security principles, and web-based application architecture will be essential. You must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication abilities. A degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience is preferred. Additionally, you should be able to turn ideas into well-authored code, influence various teams within and outside the development team, and lead code reviews and management to achieve optimal results.
