Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer Mechanical Static to join our team at Akers Solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with expertise in static equipment design and analysis.

Roles and Responsibility

Design and develop mechanical static equipment, including reactors, columns, tanks, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels.
Conduct stress analysis and structural integrity assessments on static equipment using finite element methods.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies for static equipment, including inspection and repair plans.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians on mechanical static equipment design and analysis.
Participate in the development of new technologies and processes related to mechanical static equipment.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical static equipment design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Experience with finite element methods for stress analysis and structural integrity assessment.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical static equipment design and operation.
