Senior Engineer - Mechanical, Bought Out

Role Overview: As a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Gradiant India Private Limited, you will be responsible for leading the mechanical design of water and wastewater treatment plants, ensuring seamless integration of components, and executing international and local projects in India. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the mechanical design of WTP / ETP / STP / WWTP / Desal treatment plants, including equipment selection and sizing. - Prepare technical specifications for mechanical equipment and work with vendors for procurement. - Collaborate with other engineering disciplines for complete project execution. - Perform engineering calculations to assess system performance and propose solutions for optimization. - Ensure all mechanical designs and installations comply with codes, standards, and best practices. - Collaborate with the project team to prepare cost estimates for mechanical components and equipment. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. - 5-8 years of experience in mechanical engineering with expertise in water and/or wastewater treatment systems. - Familiarity with industrial standards like ANSI, ASME, API. - Strong understanding of various mechanical components and equipment used in water treatment systems. - Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
