AGCO is looking to hire candidates for the position of Senior Engineer - Hydraulics Your Impact System Design & Architecture: Lead the design and development of hydraulic circuits and subsystems (e.g., valves, pumps, actuators, hoses) from concept through production. Component Selection & Integration: Specify and integrate hydraulic components based on system requirements, working closely with suppliers and internal teams. 3D Modeling & Drafting: Create detailed models and drawings using PTC Creo, ensuring compliance with industry standards and manufacturability. Performance Analysis: Conduct flow, pressure, and thermal analyses to validate hydraulic system performance and optimize design parameters. Prototyping & Testing: Support the build and validation of prototype systems; define test plans and interpret results to guide iterative improvements. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Lead root cause analysis of hydraulic issues and implement corrective actions during development and field support phases. Collaboration: Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to ensure hydraulic systems are seamlessly integrated into overall product architecture. Documentation & ECNs: Prepare and maintain design documentation, BOMs, and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) using Windchill PLM or equivalent tools. Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and cross-functional project teams. Compliance: Ensure designs meet industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements. Your Experience and Qualifications Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Min 7+ years of experience in hydraulic system design and development. Strong proficiency with PTC Creo and familiarity with Windchill PLM or similar platforms. Deep understanding of fluid power principles, hydraulic schematics, and system-level integration.
