Senior Engineer / Engineer P&M

Job Description

Role & responsibilities: Oversee the operation and maintenance of all construction-related equipment, including batching plants, transit mixers, concrete pumps/boom placers, excavators, loaders, lifting equipment, WMM/Hotmix Plants,Crushers and other related machinery. Monitor day-to-day plant and machinery activities at construction sites, ensuring efficient & Safe operations Folowup on (MIS) reports with subordinates , ensuring data accuracy and timely submission to management. Monitor and manage costs related to plant and machinery operations, including fuel, maintenance, repairs, and rentals. Ensure cost-effective use of machinery, keeping within budgetary constraints, and identifying opportunities for cost savings. Follow up on spare parts indents from the site P&M team, ensuring timely approvals and working closely with the procurement team to ensure timely issuance of Purchase Orders (POs) and delivery of supplies. Ensure timely supply of spare parts to the site P&M team to facilitate repairs and maintain machinery in good working condition.
