Your expertise in Spark optimization, scalable data processing, and data transformation pipelines will drive SAP Business Data Cloud initiatives, supporting SAPs Data & AI strategy. Responsibilities: Design , Implement and evolve capabilities of a highly scalable data processing framework running on Spark. Implement and refine pluggable data transformation pipelines for enhanced data processing efficiency. Enhance CI/CD workflows through GitOps methodologies for greater operational efficiency. Apply SQL skills to execute and optimize data transformations in large-scale projects. Integrate AI & ML technologies into engineering processes, adhering to industry best practices. Utilize SAP HANA Spark for effective data processing solutions. Communicate effectively with global colleagues to ensure successful project delivery. Qualifications: Solid experience in data engineering, distributed data processing, and SAP HANA or related databases. Proficiency in Python ( PySpark ) is required ; Scala and Java are beneficial. Experience in Spark optimization and scalable data processing. Expertise in developing data transformation pipelines. Familiarity with Kubernetes, GitOps , and modern cloud stacks Understanding of AI & ML technologies and industry trends. Excellent communication skills for teamwork in a global context.
