Senior Engineer, Bulk Material Handling - Projects

As a Senior Engineer - Projects in the Bulk Material Handling - Apron feeders and Conveyors engineering team located in Vadodara, India, your responsibilities will include: - Preparation and scrutiny of Design Calculations & Design Drawings as per Indian and Global standards for Apron feeders and Conveyors equipment. - Leading projects, interpreting customer data sheet/specifications/contract requirements, and performing design calculations for mechanical and structural components. - Reviewing/checking drawings created by peers for accuracy and manufacturing feasibility. - Collaborating with internal departments including Projects, Procurement, Electrical, and Installation in project execution. - Providing technical support to local and global stakeholders in Apron feeders and Conveyors, including design, fabrication, quality assurance, sourcing, and troubleshooting. - Ensuring engineering tasks are delivered on time, on cost, and on quality and performance. - Maintaining a commitment to quality, ethics, and safety. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering / Masters in mechanical discipline. - Relevant experience (min. 6 & max. 10 years) in Apron feeders and Conveyors from reputed companies preferred. - Knowledge of drafting/modelling software like AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, or equivalent 3D software. - Ability to work independently and proactively. - Capability to communicate effectively in English. In addition, applicants should have the following technical competencies: - Significant experience in Apron feeders and Conveyors. - Knowledge of relevant international codes and standards like IS, ASME, DIN & FEM. - Competent problem-solving skills with a sound understanding of engineering principles. - Hands-on experience in detailed design of Apron feeders and Conveyors.
