We are seeking a Senior Engineer - Projects to join the Bulk Material Handling - Apron feeders and Conveyors engineering team in Vadodara, India. We deliver state-of-the-art material-processing / Handling equipment and optimized processes. In this role, you will perform engineering work for Apron feeders and Conveyors equipment delivery projects. You will report to the Manager / Deputy Manager of the engineering team within the project delivery in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. You will join a team of engineers dedicated to leading the continued expansion of the Bulk Material Handling in collaboration with our market areas, adjacent business lines, distribution network, and other stakeholders. The team culture is focused on high ambition and succeeding together, comprising multinational team members based in Finland, Australia, Brazil, USA, and India. **What You'll Do** - Preparation and scrutiny of Design Calculations & Design Drawings for Apron feeders and Conveyors equipment. - Prepare design ideas and solutions in mechanical and structural disciplines. - Lead projects and interpret customer specifications for mechanical and structural components. - Review/check drawings for accuracy and manufacturing feasibility. - Preparation of facility Layouts, General arrangement drawings, and Foundation Drawing. - Create mechanical and structural 3D models using design software. - Collaborate with internal departments for project execution. - Resolve engineering problems and ensure timely feedback. - Harmonize drawings with company standards. - Provide technical support to stakeholders. - Travel may be required (up to 20%). - Ensure tasks are delivered on time, cost, and quality. - Maintain commitment to quality, ethics, and safety. - Perform other duties and special projects as required. **Technical Competencies** - Significant experience in Apron feeders and Conveyors. - Knowledge of international codes and standards. - Competent problem solver with engineering principles understanding. - Knowledge of FEA & DEM is advantageous. - Hands-on design experience with drafting/modelling software. - Experience with FEA/structural analysis software is a plus. - Knowledge of hydraulic systems is beneficial. **Skills and Abilities** - Organizational skills with attention to detail. - Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines. - Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Ability to manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to work independently and proactively. - Proficiency in English communication. **Who You Are** - Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering / Masters in mechanical discipline. - 6-10 years of relevant experience in Apron feeders and Conveyors. - Understanding of engineering tools. - Project-oriented working methods. - Capability to work independently. - Ability to communicate in English. **What's In It For You** - An inspiring purpose enabling sustainable modern life. - Wellbeing and safety benefits. - Compensation and rewards program. - Thriving culture focused on inclusivity and development. - Extensive learning opportunities. - Worldwide support system.
