Job Description

As a Senior Electronics Engineer with more than 3-5 years of experience in the field, your primary responsibility will be to utilize surface-mount device (SMD) components to optimize circuit density, performance, and manufacturability, including testing. You will need to have design and testing experience in complex multi-layer PCBs, ensuring signal integrity, power distribution, and select appropriate electronic components for professional use while considering performance, cost, availability, and reliability. Your role will involve conducting thorough simulations and analyses (e.g., SPICE, thermal, EMC) to validate design performance, developing and executing comprehensive test plans to verify hardware performance against specifications, and performing hands-on testing, including electrical measurements, performance analysis, and reliability testing. It will be essential to identify and troubleshoot design flaws or performance issues during the testing phase and generate comprehensive design documentation, including schematics, PCB layout files (in the required format, e.g., Gerber), Bill of Materials (BOM), design verification reports, and test reports. You will collaborate closely with team members, communicate effectively regarding design concepts, progress updates, testing results, and any technical challenges, and provide guidance and support during prototyping, testing, and potential manufacturing phases. Staying up to date with the latest advancements in audio amplifier technology, SMPS design, PCB fabrication techniques, and testing methodologies will also be crucial for this role. Required skills and experience include extensive experience in designing and troubleshooting electronic circuits, particularly in the field of audio, switch mode power supplies, and audio signal processing. Proficiency in utilizing SMD components, designing complex multi-layer PCBs, developing and executing test plans, and using audio measurement equipment and techniques is essential. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills, along with excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities, are also necessary. Preferred skills for this role include experience as an architect and designer of high-performance professional audio amplifier circuits, expertise in designing switch-mode power supplies with EMC, and knowledge of digital signal processing implementation in audio amplifiers. As part of your deliverables, you will be responsible for testing and maintaining existing professional audio amplifier schematics, producing production-ready multi-layer PCB layout files, creating a comprehensive Bill of Materials with detailed component specifications, and sourcing information. Detailed design documentation, SMPS design documentation, a comprehensive test plan, and detailed test reports documenting the amplifier's performance will also be expected. This position is full-time and offers benefits such as paid sick time and Provident Fund. The work location is in person.,
