Key Responsibilities:

SPI Administration & Database Management:

• Perform

  SPI Administrator

  role for Oil & Gas plant instrumentation projects.

• Initiate new project databases

  and integrate them into production systems.

• Merge project data

  into production databases while ensuring data integrity.
• Conduct

  quality checks on project data

  and collaborate with clients to improve long-term data quality.
• Maintain and update

  SPI (INTOOLS) records

  with as-built plant changes and in-house projects.

• Manage SPI templates, tables, and database

  for structured and efficient operations.
• Perform

  database cleanup

  and optimization for improved system performance.

User Support & Training:

• Manage user accounts

  and access control for SPI systems.
• Provide

  technical support and training

  for users on SPI (INTOOLS).
• Act as a

  liaison between engineering teams and clients

  for SPI-related queries and solutions.

Instrumentation & Technical Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update instrumentation data records in

  SPI.

• Analyze technical data and documentation to support team workflows.
• Prepare and manage:

• JB Schedules, Loop Diagrams, a

  nd Specification Updates.

• Instrument Index Maintenance and Field Instrument

  Wiring Troubleshooting.
• Technical solutions and risk assessments for instrument-related issues.
• Ensure

  QA/QC

  standards, proper record-keeping, and final job closure for high equipment reliability and plant technical availability.
• Support as-built documentation updates and ensure correctness in SPI/INTOOLS.
  

Technical Skills & Qualifications:

• Education:

  B.Tech/B.E/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.

• Experience:

  10-20 years of experience in

  Oil & Gas Industry

  with expertise in

  SPI INTOOLS

  .

• Technical Expertise:

• Strong understanding of Field Instruments, Analyzer Instruments, PLC, and DCS systems.
• Proficiency in Hexagon Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) INTOOLS for data management and interface with client-specific specifications.
• Hands-on experience in loop diagram preparation, wiring troubleshooting, and risk assessment.
• Ability to conduct discussions with stakeholders and propose technical solutions.
  

• Software & Communication Skills:

• Strong proficiency in

  SPI INTOOLS (all versions)

  .
• Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
• Ability to communicate effectively via Office Communicator, Instant Messaging, Video Conferencing, and Outlook.
