Senior E-Commerce QA & Automation Lead (Magento)

Description

We are seeking a Senior E-Commerce QA & Automation Lead with expertise in Magento to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in quality assurance and automation testing, leading a team to ensure the highest standards of quality in our e-commerce applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement testing strategies for Magento e-commerce applications.
• Lead a team of QA engineers in executing manual and automated tests.
• Create and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, PHPUnit, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices for testing are followed.
• Evaluate and recommend new testing tools and technologies to improve efficiency.
• Provide mentorship and training to junior QA team members.

Skills and Qualifications

• 5-13 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing, specifically in e-commerce environments.
• Strong proficiency in Magento platform and its architecture.
• Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Ability to write clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
