Senior Director - Data & Analytics

As the Senior Director of Data & Analytics, you will play a crucial role in leading data and analytics operations across the organization. In this role, your primary responsibility will be to drive data-driven decision-making, establish scalable infrastructure, and enable innovative business insights. You will lead the data strategy, oversee data engineering and system architecture teams, and drive the development of intuitive dashboards and reports. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Data Strategy & Leadership:** - Assist in defining and driving the organization's data strategy and governance. - Establish data as a strategic asset and promote a data-driven culture. - Lead the data engineering, analytics, BI, and system architecture teams. - **Data & System Engineering:** - Lead design, implementation, and optimization of scalable data pipelines. - Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of data infrastructure. - Guide initiatives including system integration, data lakes, and real-time data streaming. - **Business Intelligence (BI) & Analytics:** - Drive development of intuitive dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics. - Ensure stakeholders have timely and accurate insights to support strategic decisions. - Promote best practices in data visualization, storytelling, and KPI tracking. **Qualifications:** - Bachelor's or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 10+ years of experience in data-centric leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior executive capacity. - Proven experience overseeing large-scale data engineering and analytics initiatives. - Hands-on experience with modern stacks (e.g., Databricks, Astor, Kafka, AWS, dbt). - Strong understanding of system engineering principles, streaming pipelines, and cloud architecture. - Deep knowledge of BI tools (Tableau preferred) and data modeling techniques. - Familiarity with ML, AI frameworks, and data science workflows is a plus. - Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
