Senior Director - Brand Marketing, Sports

Role Overview: You will play a key role in defining the brand strategy, executing campaigns, and driving audience engagement for Star Sports. Working closely with internal teams, creative agencies, and external partners, you will deliver impactful marketing initiatives that strengthen Star Sports" presence and build deeper connections with its audience. Key Responsibilities: - Define the marketing roadmap for each property by setting objectives across awareness, intent to watch, media reach, and viewership - Analyze viewership trends, triggers, and barriers for each property/event using primary and secondary research - Develop clear briefs aligned to goals and deliverables, collaborating with internal and external creative teams - Conceptualize and deliver breakthrough campaigns that maximize brand awareness for the sport - Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver end-to-end marketing plans in a fast-paced environment - Provide data-driven recommendations for match scheduling across key properties - Monitor business and marketing metrics against set objectives, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions - Track and manage marketing spends, ensuring adherence to budgets and driving cost efficiencies Qualifications Required: - MBA in Marketing from a leading B-School - 10+ years of marketing and brand management experience with large national consumer brands - Proven expertise in marketing principles, media planning, consumer research, and end-to-end ATL, BTL, and integrated campaign development - Self-starter with the drive to take initiative and deliver results - Strong people management and influencing skills - Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation abilities - Ability to navigate and thrive in ambiguity - Genuine passion for sports and an understanding of the sports ecosystem,
