Senior DevOps Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at UsefulBI, a leading AI-driven data solutions provider, specializing in data engineering, cloud transformations, and AI-powered analytics for Fortune 500 companies, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing AWS EKS clusters using Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform. Your role will focus on ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of EKS clusters while supporting broader DevOps initiatives across the organization. Experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare domain is highly preferred. Your key responsibilities will include deploying, managing, and fine-tuning AWS EKS clusters for high availability, scalability, and security. You will leverage Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management. Additionally, you will design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline code integration, testing, and deployment. Monitoring EKS cluster health and performance, identifying bottlenecks, resolving operational issues, defining and enforcing security policies, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with application development teams to support deployment strategies will also be part of your role. Maintaining detailed documentation covering architecture, configuration, and operational procedures is essential. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 6 years of experience with AWS services, at least 4 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS), proficiency in AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, etc.), and strong experience with Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Code Pipeline). Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer. Strong communication and collaboration skills, along with the ability to work efficiently in a remote, distributed team, are also required for this position.,
