Senior DevOps Engineer (SAP Basis & S/4HANA) - Sovereign Cloud Delivery

Role Overview: As a Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in SAP Basis and Database, you will be responsible for managing the daily cloud operations of the Sovereign Cloud landscape at SAP. Your role will involve working across the Service Delivery Lifecycle to analyze, design, build, test, implement, and maintain various components or applications of SAP S4/HANA and SAP IBP systems. Strong technical knowledge of SAP systems and databases is essential for this position. Additionally, you will be involved in managing periodic maintenance activities, refreshes, patching, and upgrades. Key Responsibilities: - Analyzing, designing, building, testing, implementing, and maintaining SAP S4/HANA and SAP IBP system components or applications - Managing daily cloud operations of the Sovereign Cloud landscape - Ensuring strong technical knowledge of SAP systems and databases - Managing periodic maintenance activities, refreshes, patching, and upgrades Qualifications Required: - Expertise in SAP Basis and Database - Strong technical knowledge of SAP systems and databases - Experience in managing cloud operations - Ability to collaborate with various teams for delivering secure and compliant cloud services Additional Details: The newly created Global Sovereign Cloud Delivery & Operations business unit at SAP is focused on harmonizing all SAP Sovereign Cloud offerings for the Public Sector and regulated industries. As part of this unit, you will collaborate closely with all Board areas to establish a harmonized, scalable, and consistent offering with transparent and standardized deliverables. The SAP Sovereign Cloud Delivery India unit will provide SAP's Sovereign Cloud Services in India, focusing on the cloud landscape architecture design, build, maintenance, and operation to deliver stable, secure, and resilient cloud services compliant with local laws, regulations, and security requirements. This team will collaborate closely with the central Architecture team, Security Office, Engineering teams, and Regulatory and Governance teams in India.
