Senior DevOps Engineer

Role: Senior DevOps Engineer

Experience 8 to 12 yrs, last 5 yrs in DevOps profile

Candidates with Advance Python knowledge is mandatory

Preferable candidate from automotive and telecom companies

Candidate serving notice period or an immediate joiner or max 1 month notice period

Your qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in a DevOps or similar role, with a strong focus on CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency in Jenkins and GitLab for continuous integration, deployment, and version control.
• Advanced knowledge of Python, including object- oriented programming, and experience with additional programming languages and scripting.
• Familiarity with ticket management systems such as Jira, RTC, or similar tools for project management and issue tracking.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on teamwork.
• Nice to have: Experience with AI technologies and their application in DevOps processes

Your tasks:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate deployment processes.
• Continuously improve the pipeline to increase efficiency and effectiveness, identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing and deployment strategies into the software development lifecycle.
• Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools using advanced Python knowledge to improve operational efficiency and system performance.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance reliability and scalability.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in all aspects of infrastructure and deployment.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team
