Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, set up, and manage CI/CD infrastructure, including servers, databases, networks, and storage in physical, virtual, and cloud environments
• Rationalize technology by integrating and promoting internal tools and company standards
• Write scripts and utilize appropriate tools to automate development, delivery, and deployment processes
• Implement best practices to enhance the development experience
• Ensure portability of the CI/CD environment by minimizing dependencies on underlying infrastructure
• Monitor application performance and health, detecting and eliminating performance bottlenecks
• Improve system and software scalability and reliability, ensuring continuous uptime and availability
• Ensure software compliance with security standards and best practices
• Support deployment of systems and software for internal and external clients
• Train and support development teams in utilizing the CI/CD environment
• Participate in design reviews to ensure system/software architecture is integrable and releasable
• Stay informed of technological advancements through continuous learning

Skills Required:

• Strong experience with Ansible, Linux, and GitLab
• Hands-on expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and management
• Scripting skills for automation (Bash, Python, or similar)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
• Ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize CI/CD environments
• Familiarity with security best practices in software deployment
