Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building, deploying, and maintaining scalable infrastructure using modern DevOps tools and methodologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance automation, improve deployment processes, and ensure the reliability and performance of cloud-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, and other relevant tools.

Manage and scale containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

Build and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible.

Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure on GCP or any other Cloud providers.

Automate repetitive tasks using Python and Bash scripting.

Ensure high availability and performance of Linux-based systems.

Collaborate with development teams to streamline build and release processes using tools such as Gradle and Maven.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement proactive solutions.

Advocate and implement best practices for DevOps and cloud-native solutions.

Maintain and enforce security and compliance standards across the infrastructure.

Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps or related roles.

Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

Strong expertise in GCP services or any other cloud providers..

Advanced knowledge of Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.

Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.

Solid scripting skills in Python and Bash.

Deep understanding of Linux systems, including system administration and performance tuning.

Working knowledge on build tools like Gradle and Maven.

Strong version control experience using Git/Bitbucket.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong knowledge of system monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with other cloud platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Knowledge of security best practices and tools (e.g., secrets management, vulnerability scans).

Experience in implementing DevSecOps practices.

Knowledge of service mesh technologies like Istio, Envoy, etc.

Soft Skills:

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work in an agile, fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
