Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS)

As a DevOps Engineer at Nimesa, you will play a key role in scaling, automating, securing, and optimizing the cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines using AWS technology. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Designing, deploying, and managing scalable and secure AWS infrastructure following best practices such as VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, RDS, Lambda, etc. - Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI - Implementing infrastructure as code through Terraform or CloudFormation - Monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability of production systems with tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog - Automating manual operations and optimizing deployment strategies to enhance developer productivity - Implementing security best practices, managing secrets, and ensuring compliance with VPC peering, IAM policies, GuardDuty, etc. - Collaborating with engineering and product teams to support release and deployment requirements - Participating in on-call rotations and incident response Qualifications required for the role: - 8-10 years of overall experience in DevOps/SRE roles - 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services in a production environment - Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages - Experience with containers like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or ECS - Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, with Terraform being preferred - Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, and automated CI/CD - Knowledge of logging/monitoring tools like ELK stack, CloudWatch, Prometheus - Understanding of networking, DNS, SSL, VPNs, and security best practices Preferred qualifications include: - AWS Certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect) - Experience with multi-account AWS setups and cost optimization - Familiarity with disaster recovery and backup systems - Background in product-based companies or startups Join Nimesa to be a part of a fast-growing enterprise software start-up that is revolutionizing Disaster Management of cloud-native applications.,
