Senior DevOps Engineer - AVP

Role Overview: You are a Senior DevOps Engineer joining the Single Sign-On Services Engineering team in Pune, India. Your main responsibility will be to build scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure while collaborating with local and international teams. Your expertise in automation will be essential in translating business needs into technical solutions and supporting release management processes. You will be a part of an agile team driving innovation across cloud platforms, even if you do not meet all the requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Automate cloud provisioning and lifecycle management using Infrastructure as Code (GitHub Actions) and Kubernetes Operators - Develop and maintain Terraform plugins and modules - Design and implement high-quality solutions for cloud service provisioning and maintenance - Eliminate manual tasks through smart automation - Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to define functional and non-functional requirements - Use technologies like Google Cloud Platform and Data Vault 2.0 to design integrated, scalable solutions - Guide development workflows and approve final releases - Ensure architectural consistency and quality across engineering deliverables - Mentor engineers and promote best practices in DevOps, security, and agile development Qualifications Required: - Strong programming skills in Golang, Python, and Bash - Hands-on experience with GCP and/or Azure, Terraform, and GitHub - Solid understanding of cloud networking: VPC/VNET, hybrid connectivity, IP subnetting, DNS - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - Knowledge of OOP, design patterns, web applications, cybersecurity, and open-source technologies - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Problem-solving mindset, proactive attitude, and fluent English communication skills Additional Details: The company offers a range of benefits including a best in class leave policy, gender neutral parental leaves, sponsorship for industry relevant certifications and education, healthcare insurance coverage, and complementary health screening for individuals above 35 years.
