Senior DevOps Engineer Azure SpecialistJob Description:A leading technology organization is seeking a DevOps Engineer with in-depth expertise in Microsoft Azure. This position requires deep knowledge and understanding with other leading cloud providers such as AWS and GCP. This role is responsible for managing cloud infrastructures, developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure processes, ensuring cloud security, monitoring production and staging environments, and continuously improving system performance and availability.Key Responsibilities:Design, deploy, and maintain Azure-based cloud environmentsBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or JenkinsAutomate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, ARM Templates, or BicepMonitor logs and performance via Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log AnalyticsManage identities and permissions using Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), including integration with IAM toolsOperate core Azure services such as App Services, Functions, AKS, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, and moreHarden and secure cloud services following DevSecOps and industry best practicesCollaborate closely with development, QA, cybersecurity, and IT teams to coordinate projects and lead system enhancementsInvestigate and troubleshoot production incidents, implementing long-term solutionsRequirements:At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps role mandatoryProven experience and certification with Azure mandatoryStrong command of Azure infrastructure: Networking, Compute, Databases, Monitoring, SecurityHands-on experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines or similar tools mandatoryExperience with IaC tools such as Terraform or ARM mandatoryExperience with Docker and Kubernetes (especially AKS) strong advantageFamiliarity with configuration management tools (Ansible/Puppet) advantageUnderstanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum, Git Flow advantageIndependent, proactive, and solutions-oriented approachHigh-level English speaking, reading, and writingInterfaces:Development teamsQA teamsSecurity teamsIT departmentsProject managersSuccess Metrics:High availability of environmentsFast deployment frequencyLow rate of production failuresHigh level of automationRapid incident response times
